“Golden State owner Joe Lacob called Lakers owner Jeanie Buss to inquire about trading James, but Buss said she wasn’t interested,” ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne reported Thursday. Buss then said he would have to check with James’ agent, Rich Paul. However, Paul reportedly informed both Lacob and Buss that 토토사이트 “James is staying with the Lakers.”

Noting that James is still playing competitively at the age of 39, Lacob reportedly tried to acquire him via trade. The idea was to add James to the roster to help him and Steph Curry build off of this season.

Darryl Morris of the Philadelphia 76ers also thought James might leave the Lakers after James recently posted an hourglass emoji on his social media accounts, so he called Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and asked if he could trade James, but Pelinka said “no,” according to Wojnarowski. Pelinka then reportedly asked Corey Morey if he would be willing to trade Joel Embiid.

Morey also reportedly called the Phoenix Suns to explore the possibility of trading Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, but Phoenix dismissed the idea as “not interested,” Wojnarowski said.
